Except where specifically mentioned in other major contest rules, the following are the established guidelines for all contests run in conjunction with Star 105.5.
1. No purchase necessary.
2. Prizes are not transferable. Only the winner named on the prize sheet may obtain prize.
3. Winners are responsible for all taxes and/or tips associated with winning, use, and consumption associated with prize.
4. Photo ID is required to claim prize. Prizes may be claimed during business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, at the NextMedia Crystal Lake Offices at 8800 US Highway 14, Crystal Lake, IL. *NextMedia will not mail prizes under any circumstance.
5. Employees and family members of NextMedia Operating, other radio companies and advertising agencies are not eligible to win.
6. Social Security card and driver's license are required for cash prizes and for prizes in value over $250.
7. Prizes are held for 30 days or until the last business day before an event date associated with that prize. Prizes not claimed after 30 days will be redistributed at NextMedia's discretion.
8. NextMedia assumes no responsibility for technical difficulties during station contesting, including but not limited to telephone malfunctions.
9. NextMedia assumes no liability due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: prize provider going out of business or changing ownership, cancellation of event, out of stock or discontinued items, et al.
10. A prize may be substituted for a prize of equal or lesser value at the discretion of NextMedia of Crystal Lake.
11. All prizes requiring reservations (such as airfare, lodging, shows or side attractions) must be done so by the winner unless otherwise advised by NextMedia.
12. By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of their name, voice and likeness in on-air, web site, television or print promotion and advertising.
13. Individuals are restricted to winning only one prize per HOUSEHOLD within any 30-day period from ANY NextMedia Crystal Lake station, except where noted otherwise.
14. NextMedia of Crystal Lake reserves the right to cancel a contest/promotion or amend contest rules at any time. Any and all rule changes will be announced, and written copies made available at our offices, as soon as changes are made.
