Gypsy Moth Spraying
|
McHenry County will be conducting aerial spraying for the control of Gypsy Moth infestation during the month of May. Gypsy moths are among the most destructive forest and landscape pests in the United States stripping the leaves from Oaks, Crab Apples, Poplars and other popular tree types. Actual aerial spraying dates will depend on weather conditions.
Public informational meetings regarding the McHenry County aerial spraying program will be held at:
McHenry County Administrative Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock on Weds May 14th at 7pm.
University of Illinois Extension, 1102 McConnell Road, Woodstock on Thurs May 22 at 7pm.
